I guess I discovered how much nicer pictures look when they're bigger. The bigger the better. The more the merrier. Cities look good too. And so does a table filled with Mom's cooking. I've also been loving accessories. Especially the bracelet Patrice made me. It was lonely on my wrist so I made another consisting of hex nuts to accompany hers. Oh, and I also added two hairbands.
standard
Got myself a sweet new lens. Not the one pictured though. That is my old lens. The one that came with the camera. It was nice. But not awesome. I feel unnecessarily professional with my new lens and it only cost a shallow hole from my pocket. As I peek through the viewfinder, my shitty day looks a bit more bootylicious.
rekindling
The tm-sunset. Really. This place will most definitely be missed. I really hope new buildings won't get constructed anywhere near this view. Ran a few miles on the canal today. The weather was breezy, quite rare here for the middle of August. But a pool of sweat still gathered in the hollows of my collarbone.
Just a couple things that are "on" during my on-off relationship with them. Washi tape in all it's colorful glory. Travel sized makeup (especially my Estee Lauder Crystal Lipstick in Crystal Baby) and those miniature bottles from Muji that I squeeze all my skincare products into. Bean curd that consists of basically zero calories and makes me sweat like a teenage boy on his first date. My Razer Orochi mouse that emits a pretty blue light. Glasses. Especially Ray-Ban ones. And well, children books.
it's nights like these
It's the midnight gathering of the TMC. Walking in the middle of the road. Drinking beer on rooftop gardens. Dining at breakfast shops at 2 in the morning. 3 hour strolls on the canal. These are the memories of the past that I will always remember. I love our crew.
sheer tops
For some reason, I've been obsessed with sheer tops lately. No more cotton t-shirts for me. I just bought one today in nude and it makes me happy. Happy!
